Medical equipment installation and commissioning

NEO installs and commissions medical equipment for hospitals, clinics, long-term care homes and OEMs across Toronto, the Greater Toronto Area and the rest of Canada. Our AAMI/CBET-trained technicians work to the manufacturer’s installation procedure, so the device is set up the way the OEM intended and the manufacturer’s installation requirements are met.

Commissioning is where most documentation gaps start. A device that arrives without an incoming inspection, an electrical safety test or a recorded configuration becomes an open question at the next accreditation survey. We close those questions on day one: every installation produces a signed installation report, tied to the device’s serial number and location in NEO’s service records.

For multi-device deliveries we plan the work with your biomedical engineering or facilities team so units are staged, tested and handed over in the order your clinical areas need them.

How it works

   We confirm the delivery schedule, site readiness and the OEM’s installation requirements with your team.

2. Step 2

   Install and verify

   Assembly, configuration, IQ/OQ checks and electrical safety testing, recorded as we go.

3. Step 3

   Hand over

   You sign off on site or by a secure emailed link, and the device’s history starts with a complete installation report.

Questions

Do you install equipment you did not sell?

Yes. NEO is an independent service company. We install equipment bought from any supplier, following the manufacturer’s procedure.

Will installation by a third party affect the OEM warranty?

We follow the manufacturer’s installation procedure and coordinate with the OEM where its warranty terms require it. Check your purchase agreement for any OEM-only installation conditions.

What records do we receive?

A signed installation report for each device, with the checks performed and their results, provided to you and kept on file by NEO.
